On a Journey of Self-Discovery

What does it mean to go on a journey of self-discovery? To go on a journey of self discovery, I would say is a time to escape from your ordinary daily life, to recognize who you really are and what you have done in your life. This journey is not just the typical vacation time of relaxation, it can be much more. It is the time when you discover not just who you are but also what you are capable of, your abilities.
One may have a job and school to go to, a very tight schedule. All they end up doing is eat, go to school, eat, go to work, go home, eat, and go to sleep, and never have a chance to personal experiences. Discovering your abilities through personal experience on this journey is one way to discover one-self. These personal experiences and the discovery of who you are can better your life style. Knowing what your capable of, you can exert them in your everyday life.
A journey of self-discovery can be a time to take nice breath of air. Having that time to relax and think straight. Think about what you have done in your life and if that is what you what to do for the rest of your life. Think about the things you want to do in the future.
To summarize it, going on a journey of self-discovery means to realize your ways of doing things and improve them to become a better person for your own happiness.

You Marry for Love

When one hears about two people getting married they automatically think that couple is truly in love. I mean marriage always has at least something to do with love doesn't it? Well, yes marriage has something to do with love, but it does not necessarily have to be the love that everybody thinks of when they perceive a wedding. The love people have for one another is the most common reason to why people marry. Love, though, may not be the reason for every single marriage. There are many reasons out there to why people marry. Marriage thus may bring out the love for one another sooner or later.

Some may marry to help out a friend. Many immigrants these days marry to gain their citizenship. In this case this friend may like to see him/her live a better life here in America. They may not be truly in love at that exact moment of the marriage but the love is there just as friends. With time they may start to develop feelings, a sort of different kind of love. Others may be forced to marry without even knowing anything about that significant other. There are people who practice this as part of their religion where the children's parents, choose the person whom they will be married to for the rest of their lives. In this situation they are being forced to be married sometimes even without the love for one another. They marry not because of the love they have for each other but for the love of their "god". Love does exist in marriage though it may not be the same love everyone refers to.
